Artist's Statement :
My sculpture varies in scale from intimate bronze pieces to wall reliefs and architectural installations. Some of the work begins as assemblage, while others are inspired by the site or materials and their possibilities.
All the work has a common thread of relationship in every sense. It emanates from my experience as a woman, as a perpetual learner and ardent observer of my surroundings. I sculpt in bronze, sometimes combined with stone. These materials suggest permanence in an impermanent world, and they free me to express, to find the humor or the beauty or the
contradiction.
